| 01/24/2012 All of the new TGM sets are here, including the first of his WWI offerings. On the way in February are the first of his Napoleonic offerings, British Rocket Troops and French Guard Grenadiers. Collectors Showcase has announced some new products for February; three versions of the German 8 wheeled armored car for Normandy, the Bulge and Africa as well as German FJ troops marching alongside the armored car. Also on deck are more Romans and Barbarians, including a Roman catapult, casualties and two man fighting sets. Lastly, the new Napoleonics are British foot guards for Waterloo. First Legion has shipped all of the new Stalingrad German and Russian sets, they look great and also the new mounted Crusaders, CRU 44-48. |
| 12/18/2011: The clock is ticking for Christmas orders, I am shipping today through next Friday the 23rd in an effort to get all orders out for Christmas, any questions or last minute items, please let me know, I am here 10:00am till 10:00pm all this week to help you as best as I can. All of the new TGM sets, SS 28, 29, 30 and 33 A and B are due here this week, also in the works are their new WWI sets and their new Napoleonic set, so please get your preorders in on these as to not disappoint as they are sure to sell out like most of their previous sets have. The mounted Crusaders, ACW Union personality figures, the new German Stalingrad figures and vehicles and the new Renaissance range are all due towards the end of the month from First Legion, all preorders will ship as soon as the stock arrives here. Collectors Showcase has a new vehicle planned for 2012, an 8 wheeled German armored car as well as some Fallschrimjagers to go with it, watch for pictures and prices soon. |
| 12/18/2011: Thomas Gunn has released four new sets; SS028, 029, 030 and 033 A and B, mortar teams and mine clearing teams. Also announced are several new WWI sets and a Napoleonic British Rocket Troops set, all are up on the site for ordering and preordering. All of the new sets from John Jenkins have arrived as well, all are available to order also. King & Country has announced quite a few new sets for December and January, specifically LW 44 and 45, two German airplanes for The Battle of Britain, one of which is depicted as crash landed. The latter is very limited, only 150 being made, please preorder if you want this one sooner than later so I can be sure to get you one. Also announced are several EA British 8th Army items, including a desert version priest with crew and a morris truck. Three new MK Crusader items are here as well. Britains has shipped the last of the ACW 114th PA figures as well as all the ACW defensive works and some very nice Sudan camel sets. |

10/31/2011: As of 9/25/11, I am proud to be included as a dealer for Frontline Figures, I was very impressed with the Prussian Seven Years War figures that were being offered for sale at the Chicago show, so I inquired about becoming a dealer and Gerard the owner was kind enough to have me as a dealer. |

09/07/2011: I am heading down to Annandale this coming Friday for the show at the NOVA campus on Saturday the 10th from 9:00am till 5:00pm, hope to see some of the forum members there. I will have all the new sets from Thomas Gunn Miniatures, specifically the German Krupps truck, the US MP truck, the German vehicle passengers and the four British paratrooper/commando sets. I will also have the new K & C DAK sets, the British Typhoon and the ground personnel as well as MK 83 (SL), "the duel." I also have a couple of the K & C WWI planes left, so shop early. |

05/21/2011: Collectors Showcase will be shipping the new WWII German 88mm Normandy and Winter versions along with the crews and prime mover, the ACW 5th NY sets and the Napoleonic British RHA set next week; they have also announced Romans and Barbarians, they look great. The new K & C Africa Corps version M13/40 is shipping this week as well along with the new WS sets. John Jenkins has announced two new SCW vehicles, a tank and an armored car along with another WWI plane and pilot set. The Thomas Gunn WWII German Cavalry will be shipping soon as well, Spring and Winter camo versions and the Krupps truck in two versions will be on the way soon as well.................. |

03/24/2011: I'll be attending the NETSS Show this Sunday, March 27th at the Burlington Marriot Hotel from 9:00am til 3:00PM. Will have all the newest releases from K & C, First Legion, John Jenkins, Collectors Showcase, Britains and Thomas Gunn Miniatures. Will also have some new scenic pieces from Build A Rama, JG Miniatures and a brand new range of scenics focusing on the American Civil War................. |
03/02/2011: K & C has announced a P47 airplane, AF 12, quantity limited to 400.00 and BBG 43, a Battle of the Bulge German armored car with two figures, again limited to 400. There are also three limited edition Italian M13/40 tanks, an Italian version, a DAK version and a captured Australian version, I am sold out of the Italian version, have limited quantities left on the other two variants. Some nice new releases on the way for desert WWII Italian Infantry, plus a new range, Napoleon in Egypt, looks very interesting. Collectors Showcase will soon be releasing a Normandy and Winter version 88mm gun, prime mover, seated crewmen set and deployed crewmen set, as well as a Napoleonic RHA gun, crew, destroyed gun and wounded crew and a six horse caisson set, pretty impressive looking piece to say the least. |
| 02/23/2011: Returned late Sunday evening from my first show of the year down in Annandale VA; thanks to all of you who came out and supported me, there are a great bunch of collectors in that area who love their toy soldiers, so thanks again. My next show is Sunday, March 6th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Secacus New Jersey from 9:00am till 3:00pm, hope to see some of you there.
K & C has announced three new vehicles as part of their "250 series", ie, only 250 of each are being made. This one is an Italian M13/40 tank painted in three variations; Italian, German Africa Corps and Australian captured version, I happen to like this one best. All three come with a unique tank commander and retail for 149.00, supplies are extremely limited, so have a look and let me know if any are of interest.
Collectors showcase has announced their next ACW sets, 5th New York Zouaves in firing, advancing, command and wounded sets, another great addition to their expanding ACW range. Also, this is pretty exciting IMO; a Napoleonic RHA gun and crew set, both damaged and in full action, as well as a six horse limber set with caisson and riders, this one is spectacular, only 200 will be produced, so let me know on this set as well............... |
| 02/14/2011: Thanks to my top shelf webmaster, the 1/32nd and 1/72nd scale plastic sections are in the process of being revamped and updated, they were badly in need of this for quite some time, keep an eye on both sections as new sets get added going forward. Speaking of new sets, the new WWII GI's in olive drab and tan are here from CTS, 20.00 per set, as well as the Modern US Infantry sets from Armies in Plastic in olive drab and tan, 15.00 per set. I also have a new range of 1/72nd scale diecast vehicles here from "Blitz72"; there are currently four WWII German vehicles available with more planned. I am also the East Coast exclusive toy soldier show dealer for Toy Soldier Company's new ho/oo scale plastic WWII Russian and German Infantry sets, 57 figures per set, 18.00 each, WWII British are new up. I am off to my first show of the year on Friday, the show is Saturday from 9:00am till 3:00pm at the Annandale VFD Hall, Annandale Virginia. I will have plenty of new products from all of the major metal and plastic companies, hope to see some of you there.................. |
| 02/02/2011: I am expecting the new sets of WWII GI's from CTS around mid week next week, they are all new poses in either Olive Drab or Tan, they match up very well with the TSSD and Conte plastics. A set is 18.00, orders are rolling in, so get yours today. Also coming in are the new Modern US Infantry sets from Armies in Plastic, either tan or olive drab, 20 figures, 10 poses for 15.00. King & Country has announced their new releases for February, among them is WS 180 (SL), a limited edition German Jagdtiger tank, a massive machine used by the Germans late in the war, only 750 are being produced, 289.00 is the retail price, please place your orders soon to avoid disappointment. There are also some new LAH figures, new Saracens for the Crusader range and some new German Home Guard figures to defend Berlin in the later stages of the war.............. |
| 01/28/2011: King & Country has sent the new ME 262 airplane and ground personnel along with the new SA German figures. Also new from King & County is the WWII British Grant tank and the FFL figures. Collectors Showcase shipped the new King Tiger in both Normandy and Winter versions along with the Union Artillery and French Imperial Guard figures. John Jenkins has announced the 2011 club figures, along with club set #6 and several new WWI, Spanish Civil War, French and Indian, Jacobite and Sudan releases. Classic Toy Soldiers has announced a new set of WWII US GI's, they are expected to arrive soon. The first show of the season is just around the corner, February 19th in Annandale Virginia at the VFD hall from 9:00am till 3:00pm, hope to see some of you there................ |
11/27/2010: Happy Holidays and Seasons Greetings to all, tis the season as they say. I will be attending a show this coming Saturday December 4th down in Annandale Virginia from 9:00 till 3:00 at the Annandale VFD hall right off of the Little River Turnpike, hope to see some of you there. New items continue to arrive every week from all the manufacturers. Britains has sent their three new Zulu War British figures, plus Forward Gordons from their Napoleonics range. John Jenkins has sent his December releases, including TIC 6, 7, JR 20, the newest club set, #5, BM 26, a new set of highlanders from his growing Sudan range and yet another set for his War of 1812 series. WS 177 (SL), K & C's new Winter Tiger is here, along with all of the new Bulge US and German sets, plus all of the new Napoleonic Highlanders. Their new winter 88mm gun and addon crews are expected before the end of the year as well. Thomas Gunn has sent their two anniversary German MG teams, winter and spring camo for each, 95.00 per set, quantities are very limited. He has also sent his new British Paratrooper sentry sets as well. The Holiday orders are coming in as well, I will be shipping out orders right up until Friday December 24th, so feel free to let me know what items that special someone wants to be sure they arrive by Christmas.............. |
10/27/2010: Now in stock, ready to ship from King & Country are all the US Battle of the Bulge sets, BBA 37-44, plus the two Christmas sets, as well as the LAH items, LAH 119-125. On the way from Collectors Showcase are the new LAH sets, the Napoleonic Scots Greys, the ACW Confederate Artillery battery and the WWII US Sherman tank in Summer and Winter camo with jumpers, riders and reloaders. 10/01/2010: Well the big OTSN show has come and gone, and what a show it was, just spectacular, I was thrilled with the outcome, thanks to all of you who attended and supported me, I greatly appreciate it. Next up is Fredericksburg on the 10th, a week from Sunday. Figarti announced a couple of very unique items, a WWII era train set as well as the railversion of "Karl", the big mortar the Germans used, both are limited in quantities, preorders are now being accepted, please let me know if either is of interest, pictures to be posted soon. K & C announced several new items as well, namely a limited edition Tiger tank in winter camo, and two winter armored cars, both are repaints of other armored cars from their product offering. Speaking of K & C, all of the new AK sets are on the way to me, will have them by Monday, including AK 71 (SL), the limited edition airplane, I have one left for sale, all the rest are spoken for in case anyone is interested. The cavalry figures from TSSD are on the way to me as well, set #17 in light blue, medium blue and grey, as well as the new Apaches from Paragon and the new WWII British Infantry from Steve Weston, all of these sets are priced at 17.00 each.............. |

09/01/2010: Well, August has turned to September and the show season will soon be starting up for me again, September 11th I'll be in Annandale at the NOVA campus for the Capital District Modelers Toy Soldier Show and Sale, 9:00am till 5:00pm, then it's off to the grand daddy of them all, the big OTSN show in Chicago, September 22nd through the 26th, will be in my usual rooms starting Wednesday the 22nd at noon, rooms 5340 and 5342, hope to see some of you there.
Now in stock from Collectors Showcase are the new ACW 20th MA sets, the WWII Summer and Winter Wespe, the Summer, Winter and Desert version command vehicle, the Rommel figure, the Desert Mark IV and the jumpers and riders to go with it. Up next is the US jumbo Sherman with addon jumper and rider sets due in October.
Also now in stock from K & C are WS 162-166, the new 12th SS "HJ" sets, plus WS 175 and 176, the tracked towing vehicle and the new Panther, plus the Austin light utility truck in RAF, ETO and desert colors, plus the new AWI British Infantry. A new US ambulance has been announced both in Summer and Winter versions, with the Winter version in a quantity of only 250 worldwide, so please place your preorders on this asap as it is sure to sell out. | 07/04/2009: Happy Fourth of July everyone and it's fitting that a new company has emerged with a bang on today of all days; Thomas Gunn Miniatures, who will be producing a superb range of 1/30th scale figures, starting with two sets of a German Fallschrimjager three man machine gun team for both Normandy and Africa/Italy, priced at 85.00! I expect big things from this company in the future based on this first set, my stock is due to arrive in about three weeks, so please contact me sooner than later if you wish to order a set of either (or both!)...............

| 06/30/2009: Collectors showcase has just informed us the following items will be on the way at the end of July; CS00329 and 330, two new ACW sets, CS00335 through CS00342, Napoleonic Polish Lancers, CS00343 through CS00346, two command vehicles, one for Rommel and his aide, one for Pieper and his aide and CS00347 through CS00353, three versions of the German Hanomag 251/1 halftrack for Normandy, the Bulge and for Africa, each with the option of an addon set of figures leaping from each version of the vehicle. All very exciting items from Collectors Showcase.
Word from the London show today is Figarti will be coming out with a British Firefly tank, British Infantry, a winter German 88 and a winter German prime mover, prices TBD; they all look spectacular. Also, from First Legion, Napoleonic Prussians will be on the way soon, NAP 150 through NAP 166, along with the beginning of The Battle of Stalingrad series of figures and vehicles. There are German and Russian figures due here in about a week along with a German Stug III tank, due later in the Summer. Also on the way shortly from First Legion are more Russian Hussars.................. |

Coming later this month are Canadians, specifically several infantry sets and a Cromwell tank and for the Germans, a pillbox with troops to man it. Also coming is a limited edition, “Plot to Assassinate Hitler” with a couple of add on sets as well. Coming in July from Collectors Showcase will be several Napoleonic Polish Lancers and three different versions of the famed German fighting vehicle, the 251/1 for Africa, the Bulge and Normandy, three different paint schemes. |
| 02/25/2009: Now in stock, ready to ship from Britains are several new ACW figures; foot, mounted and dismounted cavalry as well as two terrain bases, one with grass on it and another with a road down the middle and grass on either side. Expected in late next week from K & C will be the beginning of their real west range, TRW 1-8, plus three new additions to their FOB range, FOB 40, 41 and 45, a French motorcycle, a British ambulance and a British stretcher team.
Also due out soon from John Jenkins Designs is his new limber with cannon BAL02, his limber attendees including Daniel Boone BAL01 and another in the Jacobite Rebellion range, JR 07. Also due shortly from Honour Bound are two superb sets of WWII German Ramcke Brigade figures for North Africa, Sicily and Italy.
I have also come into several terrain items from the old Conte Playsets; a church with priory, two ruined french buildings, a barn with lift off roof and hedges to either side, four afghan structures and a three piece french farm complex, pictures soon to follow........................

| 02/18/2009: Now in stock, ready to ship from Figarti are several new WWII items, including two sets of Africa Corps Infantry, a set of US figures on patrol, a German Officer, a V1 missile launch ramp set and two sets of Vietnam War Vietnamese. I am expecting some 8th Army sets soon as well. Also in stock are NAP 81 through 97, Waterloo British Foot Guards from First Legion, NAP 98 a mounted French officer and NAP99, a set of Russian staff officers. Russian Hussars are due in March as well as a British gun with crew.

| 02/06/2009: In two weeks, I'll be off to Annandale Virginia to attend the Annandale Toy Soldier Show, my first show of the year. I can hardly wait.
I'll have loads of new product, including from K & C, the new Napoleonic Dutch Lancers, the new AWI US Rhode Island Regiment troops, the new USAAF and Luftwaffe figures, plus the new WWII German personality figures. From Collectors Showcase, I will have the new ACW figures, plus all the new American and German Arnhem figures and the three new Stug tanks. In the works from Collectors Showcase in March will be British 95th rifles for Waterloo. Speaking of Waterloo, I will have on hand the new British foot guards from First Legion, they are incredible. I will also have quite a few new boxed plastic sets in both 1/32nd scale and 1/72nd scale from Italieri, Hat, AIP and TSSD just to name afew. I've also received a restock on the FOV US WWII deuce and a half's, so get them while you can. I will also have all the newest sets from John Jenkins Designs and the two new Honour Bound WWII German Infantry sets. I hope to have the first of a huge wave of new releases from Britains; they have announced new AWI, ACW, Napoleonics, Museum figures, Zulu War, World War I and World War II. All of the new releases look superb, I especially like the Napoleonics and the WWII figures. We hope to have pictures up on the site shortly. I will also be bringing several new buildings from the new Canucks Creations line of battle damaged facades and building fronts. These have been a huge hit so far and he has many more items in the works, so stay tuned. After Annandale, I will be at the Secaucus New Jersey show on March 8th, then Cold Wars from the 13th through the 15th in Lancaster PA, then the New Jersey Toy Soldier Show in Wayne at the PAL on the 29th to round out the month. April will feature the Dedham Toy Soldier Show on April 5th, then the Delaware show on the 24th and 25th, followed by the Gettysburg Toy Soldier Show on the 26th. I hope to see many of you at these shows, they are all well worth the trip................ |

09/26/2007: I'm back from the OTSN show held this past weekend in Chicago, great to see many of you in person and I appreciate the business there as well, I can't thank you enough for the support.
There are many new items in the works; K & C is doing an entire series of British Airborne for The Battle of Arnhem later this year as well as some winter Germans and Americans, plus some nice vehicles. Britains has announced many new releases in their ACW, AWI and Napoleonics ranges, plus some great scenic items as well. Figarti has some great new items in the works, including a massive German E boat, a B 17 bomber and some terrific buildings and scenic items.
John Jenkins was at the show and had some terrific figures on display due later this year, a whole series entitled Battle of the Snowshoes, plus some other terrific additions to his ever expaning French and Indian War series. Speaking of which, the new Highlanders are now in stock, all three sets. The four new Jadgpanthers from Honour Bound are also now in stock, ready to ship,and the new WWII DAK sets from Collectors Showcase and the ACW sets are on the way here and will arrive shortly.

09/10/2007: Well, a week from today I will be on my way to the big OTSN show held in Schaumberg IL at the Hyatt Regency. Can't wait to be honest, this is THE show of shows, my favorite show to attend. I get to see many of you in person there and I really enjoy that aspect of the show. I will be in my usual rooms, 5340 and 5342, I'll have loads of metal and plastic figures and many, many scenic items as well. I will be ready for business on Wednesday at 10:00am sharp, hope to see many of you there.

Later in July, FOB 37, the French tank is due out and in August, FOB 38, the German Stug III as well as seven sets of German Airborne will arrive. Pictures and prices will be up soon in the K & C section. The Honour Bound Shermans are due to ship early next week and should be here towards the end of the week, stay tuned. From Forces of Valor, four new German repainted tanks are on the way, a Tiger I, a Jagdpanther and two Mark IV's as well as a repaint on the Russian T34/85. Also on the way are three sets of ho/oo figures; Russian Cavalry, German Cavalry and US Infantry. ONTC has announced their two WWI tanks are ready and will be on the way to me shortly, also, Del Prado has announced a Samurai series and a ACW series to be released soon. 02/14/2007: Reports are filtering in from the New York Toy Fair as to some of the 2007 releases expected from both Forces of Valor and 21st Century Toys. There are some great items in the works as follows; I'll will keep you posted as to release dates when the time comes. Forces of Valor has announced the following new items in 1/32nd scale; a German SDKFZ 7, a US M5A1 Stuart, M3 Lee tank and an M3A1 haltrack. In 1/72nd scale, they are due to release WWII Cossacks, SS Cavalry and US 29th Division Infantry, along with a M 26 Dragon Wagon, an LCM 3 Landing Craft and two US heavy bombers, a B25 and a B26, unreal. 21st Century has the following to announce; a US 155mm Long Tom, a Sherman with bulldozer blade, a Firefly, and SU 85, Italian Infantry and two Japanese vehicles, no word on what they will be yet. I know of at least one customer north of the border around the Toronto area who would be over the moon if one of the vehicles was a Chi Ha, right Dick? I'll get my order pad ready for you just in case. Collectors Showcase, the company that brought us some US Airborne, German SS and German LAH sets earlier this year has announced several Africa Corps items, including an 88mm gun, a kettenkrad, a Panzer I tank, a couple of infantry sets and a commmanders set; judging by the pictures in the latest issue of Toy Soldier and Model Figure, they look pretty terrific............... |

| 01/30/2007: I returned late last evening from the Michigan Toy Soldier show that was held on Sunday. The turnout was excellent and I got to see quite a few of my OTSN customers, so it was a real pleasure to be there and thanks to all of you who stopped by to say hello and for your purchases as well. I will see you there again in July. The folks from Britains were there and I had a chance to see all of the new releases that are scheduled for 2007, and what a line up there is. In the Napoleonics series will be a Hougomont North gate with add on wall sections and a well set plus several new French and British infantry sets. The WWI range will see more Germans, more British including some Black Watch Highlanders. The Civil War range will have more Union and Confederate Infantry, as well as some Confederate Generals and an artillery set. More scenic pieces including plank fence sections and some small buildings too. World War II will see the introduction of British Infantry, as well as more Americans, Germans and scenery, including a battle damaged building. All of these new items will begin rolling out in February and continue through the end of the year. We will add pictures and prices in the near future. will be my last update prior to the big OTSN show out in Chicago. From
21st Century, I've got the new US M7 Priest, the Mark IV long barrel with
turret and side skirt armor in tiger stripe camo and the Mark IV short
barrel in panzer grey all for 20.00 each. From Figarti, I've got all six
of the new WWII Marine sets as well as both of the new Vietnam sets, and
the Japanese 150mm gun with crew and the FFL WWII patrol set as well.
From Patriot Models, I've got the new three man German Infantry set for
50.00 and the three man US Airborne set is in route to me at the hotel,
also for 50.00. Speaking of in route to me at the hotel, K & C has shipped all three of the new terrain features, SP 25 MG nest, SP 26 mortar pit and SP 27 AFV position, as well as RTA 15 through 34 Alamo Texans and Mexicans, and MK 01 to 20, all of the new Crusaders. The New Model Army has forwarded all three versions of the Sturmtiger, all four versions of the schwimmwagon and both versions of the FJ patrol. The Sturmtigers are 90.00, the schwimmwagons are 95.00 and the FJ patrols are 70.00 each. Honour Bound has sent all three versions of the Bergepanther at 210.00 each and all three versions of the field kitchen at 145.00 each. Speaking of August, K & C has announced five Napoleonic French Chausseurs, thirteen new additions to the Fields of Battle range including a German Kublewagon, a British Mark 6 tank, French Cavalry and several French and British figures in action poses. Also on the way for August will be seven sets of Japanese Infantry, including an MG team a mortar team and anti tank rifle team just to name a few. From the scenics range will be a stone wall with gate, a pillbox, a Roman fort façade and a set of supply depot items. Also in the scenics range will be an Alamo Chapel façade, this to go along with some all new Alamo Mexicans. September will begin the Texan releases in this exciting new range.
From Forces of Valor, we are expecting the 1/32nd scale 88mm gun, 105mm gun and the German SDKFZ 7 halftrack with flak gun on the back around the end of July, early August along with several 1/72nd scale vehicles, including several British, German and Russian pieces.

Due in early next week are NA 83 to NA 90, the British Scots Greys Cavalry from King and Country. The following week, I expect all of the new US D-Day sets to arrive, including the Stuart, the Ambulance Jeep, the two personality figures, the souvenirs set, the two troops with horses and the German surrendering set. In July several new WS sets are due, including the Panzer Lehr Assault gun, the four man officers conference, the motorcycle set and last but not least, WS 77, the limited edition Panzer Meyer command halftrack. I attended the Valley Forge Toy Soldier Show this past weekend and saw many new products as well as some future releases from some of your favorite manufacturers. The folks from Britains/First Gear were there showing off the three new ACW sets, which I now have in stock; 17631, Stonewall Brigade wounded set for 65.00, 17663 Union 13th Indiana for 65.00 and 17632, Stonewall Brigade Command set for 55.00. I also saw some beautiful WWII sets that are due out later this Summer and Fall, including a US M8 Greyhound and a German Pak 40, a Kettenkrad and a Steyr command vehicle along with eight US and German infantry sets and some accessory sets as well. I am now carrying the Del Prado figures from Europe and I've got the first 12 Napoleonic foot figures, the first 12 Men of the Modern wars figures, the first 8 Napoleonic cavalry figures and the first 6 Medieval foot and mounted figures; the foot figures are 15.00 each and the mounted are 20.00 each. We will continue to add new figures as they become available. From Forces of Valor, the new Sherman M4A3 with the three tank riders is here for 42.00, as well as the Grant tank, the LAV 25, AAVP7, M270 and Self Propelled Howitzer, each for 36.00.
